Nigel Hubbers has been involved with Indian healthcare through his practice of yoga and meditation for the last 30 years. His connection with Ayurveda started 10 years ago when he was introduced to its healing methods for stress-related diseases. He completed the BA (Hons) degree in Ayurvedic Studies at Thames Valley University and has been running his own practice since then. He has also spent time in India, Sri Lanka and Australia learning classical methods of treatment and currently practices in Harley Street, SOAS, Stanmore and in Mayen, Germany.
Nigel’s particular interest is in women’s diseases and in particular focuses on the importance of stress and poor digestion as principle causes of the majority of diseases.
Apart from his position as Vice President of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (APA), he is the Chairman of The Institute of Ayurveda (IOA), a Board member of The European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (EHTPA) and a Founder member of the European Ayurveda Association (EuAA) |
